The 37th Tactical Fighter Wing (37 TFW) is a unit of the UNSC Air Force assigned to the Air Combat Command.[1] It is comprised of an estimated fifty[note 1] GA-TL1 Longsword Interceptor/Strike Fighter aircraft, used for air superiority and close air support for the UNSC Army and Marine Corps. It is likely a successor to the 37th TFW of the 21st century United States Air Force.[note 2]
One of the wing's aircraft, tail number "002", crash landed near a Forerunner weather station on an unidentified Halo installation.[1]
