Drill grounds

The Drill grounds was a deleted building type in the game Halo Wars. It is possibly where the player would receive resources or upgrade Marines. It is possible to see some troops doing push-ups at the rear of the building during the first Halo Wars demo. In gameplay from Halo Wars, it is not present, and is considered cut material.

Drill grounds is part of the deleted material cut from the Halo games.

When developing the Halo games, Bungie, Ensemble Studios, and 343 Industries have had to cut some content from the final games. As such, many aspects of the games, such as vehicles, gameplay, design, and story elements, were not included in the final versions. Many of these elements have been confirmed by such material as videos and commentary, interviews with developers, and released concept art.
