Eddie Underwood was a resident of the Rubble prior to its destruction in 2535, and is a friend of Ignatio Delgado and Melko Hollister.^[1]

He was once on a mining crew. During a mining accident he fell into liquefied rock with his right arm out trying to catch himself; the arm was subsequently turned to stone. After the accident, he retired from mining, he hung his stone arm over the bar. He owned a bar named Eddie's In The Rock, which was located in the outskirts of the Rubble. The bar was mainly for miners who were still excavating asteroids. He is noted for being obsessed with cleanliness despite the generally untidy condition of his bar.^[1]
