Manassas was a city in the state of Alföld of the Ütközet province on the planet Reach. It was among the three largest cities on Reach, the other two being Ezhtergom and Quezon.^[1][1] One of Reach's spaceports, the Manassas Spaceport, was located in the city.^[2] During the Fall of Reach, one of the planet's civilian evacuation stations was located in Manassas, but was apparently destroyed by the Covenant.^[3]

• Manassas was named after the city of the same name located in the state of Virginia in the United States of America.
• The city of New Alexandria was apparently known by the working title "Manassas" during the development of Halo: Reach.^[4][5] However, Manassas and New Alexandria were later confirmed to be separate cities.
