Tanaga
Tanaga was a district of the port city of New Mombasa, Kenya in Africa on Earth and was a part of the metropolitan area.
Both Tanaga and New Mombasa's city center rested on a large arcology-like structure, with walls that sloped down to the level of the surrounding terrain. Tanaga was housed in the southernmost part of this complex. Located between the highest skyscrapers of the city center and the lower-case buildings of the business district on the southeastern side, the Tanaga area housed multiple mid-sized skyscrapers. In the middle of the district was the NMPD Headquarters building. During October, 2552 there were multiple construction projects in progress in this area.[1]

A district called Tangana exits in modern-day Mombasa, located approximately where Tanaga is located in Halo 3: ODST.
